Synopsis:
While they were thinking of other things,
God has suddenly brought them here..
Based on the life and times of historical figures, The Reformation of Katherine tells the story of Katherine von Bora, a headstrong, intelligent, and thoughtful young woman who has lived in a convent all her life. After she reads Dr. Martin Luther’s criticism of the abuses and corrupt teachings of the Catholic Church, Katherine and eight other nuns decide to escape the convent. They are delivered to the Black Cloister in Wittenberg, Germany, where they are introduced to Luther and his fellow theologians. Katherine and Martin share a sharp wit, strong opinions, and a passion for the Lord, and they develop a fast friendship. The story that unfolds is one of love, heartache, joy, and God’s faithfulness and goodness to His people. Join us to see how God worked in and through Martin and Katherine’s lives to influence believers for generations to come.
