Spiritual Twist Productions Presents

Pygmalion

Book, music, and lyrics by Passner & Long

Directed by Kaylee Long

This re-imaging of George Bernard Shaw’s classic play explores what it means to find dignity in a society polarized by human standards of success. Eliza Doolittle—a flower peddler from the slums of London—grasps at the chance to better herself as the pupil of celebrated phonetician, Henry Higgins. She quickly learns that success promises satisfaction it cannot deliver. Confronted with the consequences of her own pride, she begins to see that her newfound elegance must not be where she puts her hope.
